Read a book with friends
Many have been so encouraged by reading one of Lance’s books with a group. Whether at a home, coffee shop, or even a video call, reading together gives such opportunity for more fellowship and more of Christ to be shared!
Where to begin?
01
the book
Pick a book you have been encouraged by that you would like to share with others! We have had many recommend the titles below for group studies
02
Ask a friend or ten 🙂
Check with your friends to see who would be interested in joining. You may be surprised who may want to jump in!
03
Where to go?
Pick a place to meet where everyone will feel they can chat freely! One note is to be sure it isn't too loud of an environment so all can hear each other. Snacks are always helpful for people to feel comfortable and may even help ones to feel free to share!
Some favourite Books to study in Groups
Topic: Prayer
Sometimes a little fellowship on how to pray together can cause a book study to become an effective prayer group!
Good reminders
Reading about the importance of staying in the "secret place of the most high" can be a helpful reminder day by day. Read with some friends to help encourage each other to press into our Lord!
The Reason for it all
How we need to remind each other of the big picture—the eternal picture. This keeps us seeing each day in the right light.
what else do i need to consider?

Study Guides are helpful! Our Bible study series found here has study guides included. (more guides for other titles coming soon!
-
Reading a chapter a week is a great pace, but feel free to continue discussion on one chapter to multiple weeks if you feel there is more to discuss!
-
Remember, you don’t have to be a teacher to start a book group! Let the Holy Spirit lead, and trust you each will come with your portion!
A testimony
Below is an example of a testimony from a message Lance shared shared on intercession (find it here!). More testimonies from book studies coming soon! If you do a study, and would like to share how the Lord used it, we would love you to write a recommendation or record a short video like the one below!
