One of the most striking titles given to the the Lord Jesus is “The Daystar.” It shines in the darkest part of the night to herald the dawn. For the redeemed there is also a coming dawn, filled with the promise of God. The darkest part of the night is still ahead but the Lord Jesus as the daystar will arise, heralding the day of God. The redeemed will look up, for their redemption is drawing near.
